Our roots
Quincy Memorials was founded in 1950 by the Ricciardi family. In 1979, it was purchased by the Poirier family, Yves and Donna, who have run it ever since.
Both Yves and Donna grew up in the granite industry in Barre, Vermont, where Donna’s father Lucien Rouleau, and his own father Rudolph, ran Rouleau Granite, one of the region’s largest granite and memorial works.
Barre still quarries some of the finest granite in the world, and that craft runs deep. Donna’s maternal grandfather, as well as Yves’ father, were both stone cutters and designers in the granite manufacturing plants as well.
Today, Yves and Donna’s sons carry the business forward: Jeffrey as President and Bryan as Chief Operating Officer — bringing three generations of granite craftsmanship to every memorial we make.

Yves and Donna Poirier purchase the business.
2005 – 2007
Jeffrey and Bryan join the family business full-time

The family
Quincy Memorials began as a family tradition and remains one. Yves and Donna’s sons grew up in the trade and now lead the company alongside their father. Between them they bring the design, operations, and business experience that keeps a 75-year-old company moving forward, guided by the same standard three generations of this family have worked to: getting your tributes right, and treating every family like their own.
In the community
We’ve been part of this community for as long as we’ve been in business — active in the South Shore Chamber of Commerce since 1979, the Quincy Chamber, the Quincy Lions Club, and Kiwanis clubs across the region. Bryan also serves as a Regional Trustee of the Monument Builders of North America.

Full-time since 2005. UMass Amherst (Isenberg) management graduate.
Bryan Poirier
Chief Operating Officer
Full-time since 2007. Bentley University marketing graduate.
