Bronze is beautiful, and a popular option for memorials. But exposed to the outdoors, it oxidizes and dulls. We strip the oxidation, restore the bronze color and finish, reseal the surface to protect it, and repaint recessed lettering and backgrounds so the marker reads clearly again. Vases, emblems, and medallions can be refinished too.

Yes, green bronze can come back. Oxidation is almost always surface-level and removable, so a plaque that has gone dull and green can look like new again. We reseal the surface afterward, which slows re-oxidation considerably.

Will you protect it from happening again?
Yes. Matching the font, size, and depth is the whole point of on-site lettering, so the addition blends in. Occasionally there may be some differences, but it is extremely rare, and we will discuss any production concerns with you.
Do you restore bronze on-site or take it away?
Most bronze is restored on-site. Larger or heavily damaged pieces may come to our shop, and we coordinate that with the cemetery.
Can you repaint the lettering and background?
Yes. We repaint recessed lettering and backgrounds when necessary so the marker reads clearly again.
